My journey to and through MBHS
I attended Olowogbowo Methodist Primary School, on Lagos Island. My dream was to attend a boarding secondary school and I was focussed doggedly on that. As fate would have it, for some personal reasons, my father happened to be a great admirer of our great Alma mater MBHS as well as the first President of the country, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe - an iconic old boy of MBHS.

Life taught me that a greater part of our sojourn here is often not by choice but by design. I also remember that the choice of my secondary school was not really determined by me but by fate. After sitting for several entrance examinations into secondary schools, I was called for admission interview into the following: Loyola College Ibadan, Igbobi College Lagos, International School Ibadan, and St Gregory’s College Lagos; all boarding schools, but none gave me admission.
